This symposium invites reconsideration of contemporary questions of the measure and of the measures of law and the forms of life that can be lived through law. It addresses the timeliness or otherwise of our present technical means of measurement: of legal forms of persons, things and actions; of rhetorical forms of community and judgment; and the forensic, administrative and aesthetic means of measurement.
