The Greece Solidarity Campaign, Syriza London and other organisations are calling for a mass rally in support of the people of Greece on Sunday 15th February at 13.00 in front of the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square. This is part of an international wave of rallies and protests in support of Greece taking place across Europe. Come along with friends and colleagues to show your support for the first anti-austerity government in Europe.
We stand in solidarity with Greek peoples’ struggle against austerity.
Less than 3 weeks on from the decision of the Greek people to vote for hope and change, to denounce the extreme austerity measures implemented by Greek and European elites.
It is time to raise our voice alongside the Greek people and the newly elected left government.
Fear has changed side, we choose dignity.
No one has the right to bypass the democratic decisions of a nation.
European people are fighting together against deadly austerity and the further restriction of democracy.
It is time to rise up and support the struggle for a Europe of solidarity and democracy.
Against fear.
Against blackmail.
Not a step back.
We will win!
