London Review of International – Assistant Editor Post

by | 14 Oct 2024

London Review of International Law is looking to appoint a new Assistant Editor. The ideal candidate will be a doctoral student, working in the field of critical approaches to international law, with a strong sense of what makes the LRIL unique.

Your responsibilities will entail language editing and copy-editing, and so strong command of English is a must; and an interest in language and writing is a plus. Previous experience is not essential, but is desired. While the role is remote, the successful candidate would be expected to attend monthly editorial board meetings, which are usually at 9am GMT. We estimate that journal-related work will take approximately 4 hours per week. The role is supported by a small stipend.

To apply, please fill out a google form, which is available on this link. Note that the form will ask you for a short writing sample (something like your PhD research proposal, or a section of a thesis chapter will work) and a 300-word cover letter explaining why you think you would be a good fit.

For informal inquiries, please e-mail: Tor Krever.

Deadline for applications is 31 October 2024.
